About the Event

This online class offers an opportunity to deepen your relationship with voice as a tool for grounding, regulation, and connection, while learning directly from a living indigenous tradition.


Guided by Brazilian indigenous teacher Ponan Fulni-ô and supported by his relatives Aponay and Fulika, participants will be introduced to traditional songs as they are shared within their cultural context. These chants carry rhythm, memory, and connection to land and lineage, and are transmitted through listening, repetition, and embodied participation.


Fulni-ô songs are not approached as simple melodies, but as carriers of meaning, intention, and relational depth. Within the session, Ponan will share the significance of the songs, offering guidance on their meaning and teaching how to sing them in a way that is respectful and aligned with their tradition.
