Born and raised in Brazil, Andréa Ararê combines healing gifts with the knowledge of native healing rituals, Somatic Therapy, and a wealth of feminine empowerment tools. Initiated in shamanic practices three decades ago, Andréa has been creating beautiful ceremonial spaces, bespoke healing sessions, workshops, and retreats for over 10 years.
I am a shamanic practitioner and healer with more than 10 years of experience in healing practices.
I create safe group spaces for healing, awareness, empowerment, and higher levels of consciousness, leading ceremonies for women, currently in London.
In individual healing sessions, I use tools and techniques learned over the past 30 years, and I combine complementary modalities of healing. I have been successfully combining shamanic healing with somatic therapy with a long list of positive results.
I offer individual healing and therapeutical sessions, Women's Circles, online Moon Ceremonies, and I teach women to reconnect with their feminine wisdom in order to help them rediscover their power to heal themselves.
My journey as a shamanic practitioner began at the age of 19, under the guidance of a native Brazilian teacher, and continued for two years. I was bestowed with the name Ararê, which means "friend of parrots" in the native Tupi language. This naming ceremony marked a significant milestone in my spiritual journey and reinforced my connection with the natural world. I've always had a deep love of and interest in nature and spirituality, and Shamanism encompasses this perfect combination.
Shamanism is an ancient healing tradition and a way to honor and connect with nature and reconnect with the self. Through studies and practices, I developed an understanding of honoring nature’s intrinsic wisdom and human’s natural ability to heal.
Andrea pursued a career as an electrical engineer, honing strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for identifying patterns. Simultaneously, she pursued advanced training as a massage therapist and had the privilege of working in a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro, providing compassionate care to those in need.
Her spiritual search began at the age of 14, when she developed a curiosity for philosophical and spiritual topics. This led her to become the youngest energy healer worker at a respectful Kardecism Center.
In their London home, Andréa resides with her husband and their child in a house with a fig tree. Music and sports play a significant role in their daily lives
Teachers and Mentors: Throughout my shamanic path, I have been fortunate to have remarkable teachers and mentors who have contributed to my growth as a practitioner. Birth keeper Susana Tapia Léon from Ecuador, author Itzhak Beery from Israel, elder shamanic teacher Carlos Sauer from Brazil, Rogerio Mariani aka Bari Meri from Brazil, Marta Niccolai from The Foundation for Shamanic Studies Europe, and midwife and author Jane Hardwicke Collings from Australia have all play and or played an integral roles in shaping my understanding of shamanism and enriching my practice.
